Local Priorities Mobile phone theft Message

I wanted to provide an update regarding Mobile phone theft, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Numerous reports have come in from members of the public regarding mobile phones thefts in the area. Unsuspecting individuals at bus stops, shopping centres and street pavements have had phones snatched from them whilst engaged in a conversation, texting or playing on phones. This message is just a reminder to look up and look out when in your environment and protect your personal belongings.
